Uniform Shop News

The Uniform Shop is moving to the Cottage in Term 2 in 2010. We are very excited about this change of venue. We will be into room 4 of the Cottage. The Cottage is next to the K-2 Building. The uniform shop will open two days per week from 8.30 am to 11.30 am in term 2. We will open at least two days per week. At busy times we will open more. In this new location, space is limited so we will have second hand sales days throughout the year on advertised dates. Second hand items will not be available at other times. This will allow our shop to run more smoothly in the space we have been allocated. So please check the newsletter and look out for the second hand clothing sale days.

The first two weeks of term are very busy times in the uniform shop. We are trying to serve our customers in a timely manner. We have found the lines and the amount of time customers must wait at these times to be excessive. We are going to try appointments for our customer in this busy time. The first two weeks of term 2 is when people wish to buy the winter uniform. Please make an appointment for fitting out your child for the winter uniform. To make an appointment for uniform sizing go to the uniform shop and place your name in the appointment book in the date and time slot that best suits you. We will have this appointment book available in the uniform shop next week and you can make your appointment. The appointments are 15 minutes in duration. When you have booked your appointment please turn up on time. If you miss your appointment you will have to rebook. If you require longer than 15 minutes then book two appointments.

Your child can try on sample sizes to determine the sizing you will require. An order form will be given to you and you will be given assistance to fill in the form should you require it. The form is then handed to the staff at the uniform shop counter where the order will be processed. You can pay for this order by credit card or cash only. If you know your child’s uniform size, you can fill in the order form and proceed directly to the counter for processing and payment, this will not need an appointment.

Hats are supplied in small, medium, large, extra large and extra extra large. The canteen will continue to stock hats for sale. Hats purchased cannot be returned for health reasons. Also socks and girls tights cannot be returned. Only proceed directly to the counter for order processing if you do not need assistance, you have filled in an order form, your child does not need to try on any part of the uniform and you have a valid credit card or cash for payment. Please remember if you know your child’s sizes then you can fill in an order form and drop it in the uniform shop green door slot up near the canteen. Your order can then be processed and picked up during the next scheduled shop opening.
