PSSA Sport Teams

PSSA Sports Teams represent their school weekly, in interschool competitions. Students interested in the following teams will need to attend trials on dates to be advised at lines. Details of alternate sports, for those who aren’t selected, or don’t try out, will be sent out next week for term one, and again just prior to the commencement of each new term. Please note, membership of a PSSA team is for two terms of competition (1 & 4 or 2 & 3). Bus fares of approx. $50 per term, per member, will be invoiced.

 Modball
 Modball is played in terms 1 and 4 and is open to girls, and up to two boys. Junior (up to 10yo) and Senior (11 years and over) teams will be formed. The teams train twice a week (see timetable). Sports uniform is worn. Trials will be held on the first Friday of Term 1.

 Cricket
 Cricket is played by boys in terms 1 and 4. Junior (up to 10yo) and senior (11yrs and over) teams will be formed. Cricketers wear long white trousers and, a white shirt, or sports uniform, and a hat. Trials will be held on the first Friday of Term 1.

 Netball
 Netball is played by girls in terms 2 and 3. Junior (up to 10yo) and senior (11 yrs and over) teams will be formed. The teams train up to twice a week (see timetable). Sports uniform is worn. Trials will be held before the end of term 1.

 Soccer
 Soccer is played in terms 2 and 3. A junior (up to 10yo), a senior (11yrs and over) and two mixed age teams will be formed. The teams train once a week (see timetable). Team members must supply white shorts, shin pads, soccer boots and Chatswood Rangers socks (available locally). Shirts are loaned to players by the school. Trials will be held before the end of term 1.
