Our schools offers an excellent education
in a caring enriching environment which empowers
and motivates students to use their individual gifts
with confidence, creativity and generosity.
Each year Chatswood Public School publishes a booklet
which outlines the extra curricular activities of the
school. The booklet is given to families when they are
new to the school.
All extra curricular
activities operate outside the timetable of the school
day.
For Your Information
The
wide
variety of extra curricular activities require considerable time and personal
commitment by students, teachers and, sometimes, even
parents! A publication is circulated to allow
students and parents to consider students’ commitments
in full knowledge of the requirements.
For
all activities, students will be expected to be
punctual, prepared and correctly equipped. Parents will
be invoiced for any costs.Special
Extra Curricular Activities Assembly
This assembly is held during the first
week of term 1and all information is presented to children from Y3-6, and those parents
who attend. The information is summarised in a booklet. The booklet is distributed only to children
from Y3 to Y6. Infants children participate in these
activities by invitation only (with the exception of the
Y1/2 Choir and Chess), and should not return Permission
Slips.
The
timetable, on the back of the book, is provided so that
students are able to avoid clashes. With so many
opportunities, sometimes choices must be made!
